What we help with
Sound familiar?
If yours isn't on the list, we can almost certainly still help.
Getting started with a new phone or tablet
Making calls, sending messages, and finding your way around.
Video calls with family
Setting up FaceTime, WhatsApp or Zoom so you can see the grandkids.
Email and photos
Getting email working, and keeping your photos safe.
Staying safe from scams
What a scam looks like, and what to do when one turns up.
myGov, banking and appointments
Getting into the accounts you need, without the stress.
Writing it all down
We leave you with simple, step-by-step notes you can follow later.
Help that goes at your pace
A lot of tech help is rushed. Someone comes in, taps a few buttons, and leaves. Ten minutes later you're stuck again and don't want to bother them.
We do it differently. We sit with you, explain things as many times as you like, and write down the steps in plain English so you can do it yourself next time. If you'd rather we just fix it and not explain, that's fine too.
Keeping you safe online
Scam calls, scam emails and scary pop-ups are aimed at older Australians every day. We'll show you what they look like, set up your computer and phone so they're harder to fall for, and give you one simple rule: if you're not sure, call us before you click.
If something's already happened, don't be embarrassed. It happens to very clever people. We'll help you clean it up and make sure you're safe.
Family members: we're happy to talk to you too
If you're arranging help for a parent or grandparent, give us a call. We'll explain what we can do, keep you in the loop if they'd like us to, and never push anything they don't need.

Common questions
Things people ask us
I don't know the right words for what's wrong. Does that matter?
Not one bit. Say it however it comes out, like "the internet box has a red light" or "the pictures went away". We'll work it out together.
Will you make me feel silly?
Never. Everyone starts somewhere, and the questions you're worried about asking are the ones we hear every week.
Can you show me how to do things myself?
Yes, and we'd love to. We'll go through it slowly and leave written steps behind.
Can my son or daughter book on my behalf?
Of course. They can call us and we'll arrange a time that suits you.
